JU Series Pulling Tools

The Camco JU Series Pulling Tool is used to retrieve devices in the well bore that have external fishing necks.

The JU series pulling tools consist of a top sub with a sucker rod pin thread connection on the upper end, threaded to a core, a set of dogs, pawls, a skirt, a shear pin, a dog spring and a core spring. Because the core is threaded directly to the top sub instead of the skirt, and the core is pinned to the skirt, JU series pulling tools are jar up to shear release. When required the pulling tool can be released if the pulling operation has to be aborted if the device in the well bore cannot be recovered.
